To use Lidl Pay, you must download and install the Lidl Plus application and add a payment card to it
Cashless.pl readers report that the Lidl chain extends access to Lidl Pay mobile payments in Poland. They are just receiving notifications in the app that stores near their place of residence already allow payments using this solution. I have also already received such a message.

Application users receive the following message: "Your favorite store is now under test. You can test the Lidl Pay function. The functionality allows you to quickly and conveniently pay for purchases in Lidl stores." Lidl also informs that to use Lidl Pay you must add a payment card in the "My wallet" section. After adding the card, you can still choose the type of security in the Lidl Pay settings. It is either a PIN or fingerprint.

How does Lidl Pay work? If you want to pay for purchases, generate a QR code in your app, which is then scanned at the cash register in the store. These types of solutions are not something new and can already be found on the Polish market. Mobile payments in the Green Caffe Nero chain's app work similarly.
Lidl announced the planned launch of Lidl Pay tests at the end of last year. It seems that they are currently entering a new phase, which involves covering more branches and customers. It can therefore be assumed that soon all Lidl stores in Poland will be able to use new mobile payments.
