The new service is expected to help increase the number of Payback app users, of which there were around one million in July
Payback programme participants can look forward to new innovations in the app. One of them is Payback Pay, which allows users to pay in partner shops and (stationary) service points and collect points at the same time. The solution can be used by users of the latest version of the Payback app installed on Android and iOS devices. At the same time, they must use Google Pay or Apple Pay and have a debit or credit card added to Google Wallet or Apple Wallet.

The application also includes a points calculator, which allows the customer to easily check how many points he or she will earn for a given purchase (simply enter the value and select the shop). The tool also helps to estimate how many more points the customer will earn if he or she activates a voucher assigned to a particular shop before making a purchase. The calculator is available to all Payback app users, regardless of device type or operating system.

Payback is the largest bonus programme in Poland. Its partners include supermarket and cinema chains, petrol stations or popular e-commerce platforms. Participants in the programme can collect points using plastic cards and applications. The company boasts that in terms of customer activity, July was a record month: more than one million people used the app. This is almost 25 per cent more than in previous months. Participants in the programme can use the collected points when paying for purchases, exchange them for prizes or donate them to charity.
