mBank's PayNow service will include deferred payments
mBank has started testing a new solution called PayNow. Its official launch is scheduled for a few days from now. PayNow is a payment gateway for online stores. The service will include deferred payments, which will allow customers to order and buy products, but pay for them a couple of weeks later. Store owners will receive their payments immediately after processing the order.

From what I managed to find out, mBank is already testing out PayNow. The service is available to any online store owner who has an mBank bank account. This will ensure that they receive the customers’ payments immediately after purchase. The gateway management panel will most likely be integrated with the business account's online banking system.

mBank is the second bank on the Polish market that recently introduced their own payment gateway. The path was cleared by ING Bank Śląski, which implemented their imoje gateway. The service also offers deferred payments, which ING collaborated on with Czech fintech company Twisto. I don't know who mBank's partner for deferred payments will be. The technological side of introducing PayNow is handled by mElements. However, the fact that a second major bank decided to introduce a payment gateway could mean a new trend on the Polish banking market - a trend that will most likely continue to grow.
